CVC / Control number?

The control number (CVC) is a three-digit number, typically the last three digits in a row and they are printed on the back of all VISA, Eurocard, MasterCards and Diners cards. PBS will check that the information on the card number, expiration date and control number are from the same credit card.

Where do I find the control number?

The number is printed on the reverse side of your credit card. The control number can be placed at different places depending on the type of card. The illustrations below show where it can be placed.
